The Versalette as a Scarf

All of us who travel love to conserve space and look our best, without wearing the exact same thing every day of the trip (remember those fond childhood memories of sporting the pink Daisy Duck T-shirt in every single photo from the family vacation to Disney World?!). TheĀ Versalette is the first piece in a line of clothing from revolution apparel that helps us achieve exactly that. Travelers can look stylish and unique every day of the trip without toting around gigantic pieces of luggage. In fact, socially-conscious travelers and fashionistas Kristin and Shannon intentionally designed the versalette in order to enable us to do more with less.

The Versalette is one versatile piece of clothing! You can wear it 15 different ways: as a dress, skirt, top, scarf, tunic, hood, or even as a purse! Seriously, this nifty design is sure to become women backpackers’ best-friend. Plus the multi-functional style helps us prevent loads of excess clothing from being dumped in landfills. Not only is the versalette made in the USA from recycled materials, but also achieves what Shannon calls “precycling.”

The versalette can also serve as the perfect, stylish sunshade; I’m thinking to pack it for Middle East travels to be prepared for visiting a mosque.

Then readjust it for a cute sundress or cover up on the trip to the beach!

Personally, I’m super excited to see what Kristin and Shannon create next (they’re promising a collection of 10 items that can be mixed and matched into 100 outfits). I’m looking forward to much simpler, easier, eco-friendly wardrobes that are that are still full of hip and style. Watch the video below and I predict you’ll be as excited as I was to preorder the versalette to pack for my next trip!
